I’m going to assume you already took Basic Pistol Disarming Part 1. Honestly, if you haven’t, you really should go back and take Part 1

Part 1 sets the foundation, and in Part 2 we start to explore more difficult situations. We are going to add many more grabs, counters, and disarming techniques. We are also going to start dealing with threats that are not right in front of us.

What comes in Part 2? In short - options! If you only know one technique, you are limited in your response. As the saying goes, if all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. And in Part 1 this is exactly what we want! You can use the grab in Part 1 in nearly all situations, but the problem is that there is likely to be a more efficient or safer way method to use.

In Part 2 we start to explore off center, using the other hand, pistol behind, and pistol to the sides.
